Two days back Supreme Court(SC) made a revolutionary judgment by saying living together before marriage and pre-marital sex is in no way an offence. So what does this mean to the Indian Society?
What does right to live mean - right to act/live freely.In that sense how to live, with whom to live, where to live are individual decisions. If a man and women decides to live together what ever may be the reasons, they should have the right to do so and this exactly what SC said about. We have to wait and see if it will have a positive effect on the society.
I think "Sri Rama Sena" will have something to say about this?

IPL - Two new franchises
Two new franchises entered IPL - Rendezvous sports and Sahara got Kochi and Pune teams. Both of them together bid for more than 3000 crore rupees while the whole of IPL franchises costed less than 3000 crores 2 years ago. Money is always good for any sport and cricket is no exception - IPL can create huge infrastructure in India and can attract and create opportunities for Indian youth.
Though cricket is not a premiere sport in Kerala, it is well established as sporting destination. This new franchise can bring in about a lot of change to cricket in Kerala. It's economy mainly depends on tourism, but with IPL lots of money will be pumped into kerala's economy. Pune another city which is mostly overshadowed by Mumbai as a cricket hub have lots of people who are mad about cricket. All these b-grade towns/cities can pull crowd to the grounds and can be groomed as venues for International tests and ODI's over a longer period of time.
If we closely observe all the franchises most of them are from South and West of India - there is a lesson for northern and eastern states of Indian on how to develop their economy using sports as a medium. Finally with this huge amount of money thrown into IPL, can we safely say our economy is progressing? It seems so, after all cricket reflects the life around us.
